Some people would never even think of restoring one of these little radios, however, I find their look appealing. The controls are laid out nicely, the weighted dial makes tuning stations enjoyable, and the smell of the tubes in the shack makes all seem well with the world. The lighted dial and s-meter add some personality as well. This radio is a charming addition to the shack. I am extremely pleased with the audio when using an external speaker. Using the external speaker this radio sounds amazing.
